If you are in the center of Puerto Plata, head southeast on Calle 12 de Julio towards Avenida Francisco Alberto Caamaño. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenida General Gregorio Luperón. Turn left onto Avenida General Gregorio Luperón and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to Marina Ocean World. Once you reach the marina, follow the signs to the fishing charter area. Expect the walk to take around 30-40 minutes.

Public Transport (Guagua)
From the main square, Plaza Independencia, find a guagua (shared minibus) headed towards Maimón or the nearby beach areas. These guaguas frequently depart from the square. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Marina Ocean World. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the fishing charter area within the marina.

You can easily find a taxi at various points around Puerto Plata. Simply tell the driver 'Marina Ocean World' and they will take you directly there. The taxi fare should be around 300-500 Dominican Pesos, and the journey will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting the trip, as taxis in Puerto Plata do not always use meters.
