Getting There

Car
From the center of Sierra de Bahoruco, head southwest on the main road towards Pedernales. Continue driving for about 35 kilometers. As you approach the town of Pedernales, look for signs towards Los Cocos, which is located to the north of the town. Take the turnoff onto a smaller road marked for Los Cocos and drive approximately 6 kilometers. The road may become rough, so proceed with caution. After about 10 minutes, you will see the entrance to Los Cocos Pedernales on your left.

Public Transportation
From Sierra de Bahoruco, take a local guagua (minibus) heading towards Pedernales. The fare is usually around 100 Dominican Pesos. Once you arrive in Pedernales, you can either take a motorcycle taxi (motoconcho) or a local taxi to reach Los Cocos. The motorcycle taxi will cost you about 50-100 Dominican Pesos and will take approximately 15 minutes to get you to the entrance of Los Cocos Pedernales.
