Take the left fork towards the Sierra de Bahoruco National Park entrance. Continue for another 10 kilometers until you reach the park entrance. Be prepared to pay a small entrance fee, typically around 100 DOP (Dominican Pesos). Once inside the park, follow the signs for Sendero de la Virgen, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the entrance. The road may be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

    To reach Sendero de la Virgen using public transportation, take a bus from Santo Domingo to Neiba. The bus ride takes around 3-4 hours and costs approximately 300-400 DOP. Once you arrive in Neiba, look for local motoconchos (motorcycle taxis) or shared vans that head towards Sierra de Bahoruco. Negotiate a fare, which should be around 200 DOP per person, and ask the driver to drop you off at the park entrance.
