Getting There

• Car

  Start your journey from Papallacta Hot Springs by heading south on the E28 road. Continue for approximately 25 km until you reach the town of Sangolquí. Look for signs directing you to San Miguel Loreto. Once in Sangolquí, follow the signs to San Miguel Loreto. The total driving time is around 40 minutes, depending on traffic. There are no tolls on this route.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Las tres Cascadas via public transportation, first take a bus from Papallacta to Sangolquí. Buses to Sangolquí can be found at the main bus terminal in Papallacta. The fare is usually around $2. After arriving in Sangolquí, you will need to take a local taxi or a second bus that goes to San Miguel Loreto. The taxi fare is approximately $3-$5. The total travel time may take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on bus schedules.

• Walking

  If you find yourself in San Miguel Loreto after taking public transportation, the Las tres Cascadas is approximately a 15-minute walk from the central area. Head west on Av. Manuel Córdova Galarza, then take a left onto Calle San Miguel. Follow the signs to Las tres Cascadas; the path is well-marked and will lead you through scenic views along the way.
