From Quito, head to the 'La Ofelia' bus terminal. You can take the Ecovía system or a taxi to reach La Ofelia. At the terminal, look for buses heading to 'Cayambe' or 'Otavalo'. Confirm with the driver that they pass through 'Secas'. The ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at a stop near Secas, ask the locals for directions to Laguna Secas.

You can also opt for a shared taxi from the Mariscal area in Quito. Head to the 'Plaza de Mariscal' and look for taxis heading to 'Cayambe' or 'Otavalo'. Once you arrive, ask the driver to drop you off as close to Laguna Secas as possible.
