If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the town of Porvenir. From the center of Porvenir, drive north on the E28 road. After approximately 2 kilometers, keep an eye out for the entrance to Parque Nacional Cotopaxi on your right. Take this turn and continue for about 2 kilometers along the park road, where you will find Hacienda Los Mortiños on your left. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for rural roads, as some sections may be unpaved.

Public Transportation
To reach Hacienda Los Mortiños using public transportation, first take a bus from the nearest major city, such as Latacunga, to Porvenir. Buses regularly depart from the Latacunga bus terminal. Once you arrive in Porvenir, you can take a taxi or a shared colectivo (minivan) to the entrance of Parque Nacional Cotopaxi. From there, you will need to walk or arrange for a ride to Hacienda Los Mortiños, which is approximately 2 kilometers inside the park. Be prepared to negotiate the fare with the taxi or colectivo driver.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from either Latacunga or directly from Porvenir. This option is more expensive, typically costing between $15 to $25 from Porvenir to Hacienda Los Mortiños. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your journey.
