If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Quilotoa village. Head south on the main road that leads to Chugchilán. After approximately 7 kilometers, you will see signs for Laguna Quilotoa. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the Laguna Quilotoa parking area. From the parking, you can either walk (about 30 minutes downhill) or take a local shuttle to the mirador (viewpoint) which is just above the lagoon. The shuttle may cost around $1-2 per person.
