Walking
If you are in Luxor city center, start at Luxor Temple. Head west on Sultan Hussein Street for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the Corniche. Turn left onto the Corniche and walk along the Nile River. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach a roundabout. Continue straight at the roundabout onto Al Qarnah Road. Follow Al Qarnah Road for about 3 kilometers, and you will see signs for the Hot Air Balloon Take Off Site on your right. The site is located at طريق, Al Qarnah, Luxor.

Public Transport (Bus or Microbus)
From Luxor Temple, walk to the local bus station located near the train station. Look for a bus or microbus heading towards Al Qarnah. The fare is usually very cheap, around 5-10 EGP. Inform the driver that you are going to the Hot Air Balloon Take Off Site. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Al Qarnah, it’s a short walk to the Take Off Site.

Horse-drawn Carriage (Calèche)
If you prefer a more traditional mode of transport, you can hire a horse-drawn carriage (calèche) from anywhere in Luxor city. Negotiate a fare before starting your journey. Ask the driver to take you to the Hot Air Balloon Take Off Site in Al Qarnah. The ride should take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic and the route taken.
