Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Hurghada, take the coastal road (El Gouna Road) towards Cairo. Follow the signs for Cairo and merge onto the A2 highway. Continue for about 450 km until you reach Cairo. Once in Cairo, navigate to the downtown area by following signs to Al Azbakeya. Door bahr is located at 73 باب البحر في كلوت بك. Use a GPS or map application for real-time navigation. Parking may be limited, so consider using a nearby parking lot.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  From Hurghada, you can take a bus to Cairo. Several companies operate this route, including Go Bus and Superjet. Once you arrive at the Cairo bus station (usually at Tahrir Square), you can take a taxi or use the metro to reach Al Azbakeya. If you choose the metro, take Line 1 (the red line) to Sadat Station, then transfer to a taxi for the final stretch to 73 باب البحر in Klot Beik. Bus tickets to Cairo typically cost around 100 EGP.

• Public Transportation - Taxi

  If you are in any part of the Red Sea Coast, you can also hire a taxi to take you directly to Door bahr. Ensure to agree on a price before starting the journey, as taxi meters may not always be used for long distances. The fare from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo may range from 1,500 to 2,000 EGP. Once in Cairo, you can use a local taxi or ride-sharing app to navigate to the door bahr location.

• Metro

  Once you are in Cairo, the subway is an efficient way to navigate the city. You can take Line 1 (the red line) to Sadat Station, which is near Tahrir Square. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach 73 باب البحر in Klot Beik. The metro fare is around 5 EGP, making it a cost-effective option.
