Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Axum, head towards the St. Mary of Zion Church. As you approach the church, exit the main gate and turn left onto the main road. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right path, which leads you towards the King Kaleb Palace. Follow the signs for historical landmarks. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the King Kaleb Palace, marked by its distinctive architecture.

    If you are near the Axum Obelisk Park, exit the park and head towards the main road. Turn right and walk along the road until you reach the intersection with the Unnamed Road. Turn left onto the Unnamed Road and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. The King Kaleb Palace will be on your right-hand side, recognizable by its historical features.
