Continue walking until you reach the junction with 'Aksum Road'. Turn left onto Aksum Road and follow it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Aksum. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the entrance to the Aksum Obelisk site, which is located at coordinates 14.1321° N, 38.7194° E.

From the main bus station in Mekele, take a bus heading towards Aksum. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
