Getting There

    From Tórshavn, head north on Route 10. Continue on Route 10, passing through Kollafjørður. Then continue onto Route 594, which leads directly to Tjørnuvík. Parking is available near the beach. Note that traffic can be heavy in the summer. Parking is typically free.

  • Public Transport

    From Tórshavn, take Bus 400 to Oyrarbakki. Transfer to Bus 201, which goes directly to Tjørnuvík. The bus journey from Tórshavn to Tjørnuvík takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From the bus stop in Tjørnuvík, it is a short walk (approximately 500 meters) to the beach. A single bus fare will cost approximately 30-50 DKK.

    From the center of Tjørnuvík village, head towards the coast. Follow the signs to the beach. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.
