    To reach Dúvugarðar Saksun Heritage Farm, driving is the most common and convenient option. From Tórshavn, the capital, the drive is approximately 45 minutes. Take Route 10 towards the north, then turn onto Route 53 (Hvalviksvegur) towards Saksun. The road to Saksun is a single-lane road with passing places. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Saksun. There is a parking lot available near the church. Parking is free. From the parking lot, the farm is a short walk away.

    While there is no direct public transportation to Saksun , you can take a bus to Oyrarbakki and then drive or hitchhike to Saksun. From Tórshavn, take bus route 400 to Oyrarbakki. From Oyrarbakki, you will need to find alternative transportation to cover the remaining distance to Saksun, approximately 30 minutes by car. Hitchhiking is a possibility. Once in Saksun, the farm is a short walk from the parking area. Bus fare from Tórshavn to Oyrarbakki is approximately 30 DKK.
