Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Kvívík, head southeast towards the main road (Road 470). Walk along the road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by a few local houses and farms along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards the Risin og Kellingin viewpoint. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will see a dirt trail leading upwards to your left. Follow this trail, which will take you directly to the viewpoint. The trail is well marked, and the scenery will be breathtaking as you approach the viewpoint.

  • Biking

    If you have rented a bike, start from the Kvívík village center and ride towards Road 470. Take a right onto Road 470 and continue for about 1 kilometer. Look for a dirt path that leads to the Risin og Kellingin viewpoint on your left. It should take you about 5-10 minutes to reach the viewpoint from the main road. The biking trail is mostly flat with some slight inclines as you get closer to the viewpoint.
