Car
From Tórshavn, the capital, drive north on Route 10. After approximately 45 minutes, take Route 59 towards Vestmanna. Continue on Route 59 for about 12 km, then follow signs to Route 60 towards Tjørnuvík. After about 20 km on Route 60, you will arrive in Tjørnuvík. Follow the signs towards the beach, where parking is available. Parking fees may apply.

Public Transport
From Tórshavn, take Bus 400 to Oyrarbakki. From Oyrarbakki, transfer to Bus 201, which goes directly to Tjørnuvík. The bus journey from Tórshavn to Tjørnuvík takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. From the Tjørnuvík bus stop, it is a short walk to the beach. Check the bus schedule in advance as services are limited.
