Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the center of Tórshavn, head towards the harbor. From the main square, walk down towards the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the end of the harbor. Continue straight, and you will see the large white building of the City Hall of Tórshavn, located at 1 Vaglið. It is a short 10-minute walk from the center.

Starting from the National Museum of the Faroe Islands, exit the museum and head west towards the main road (Vesterbøkur). Turn left onto Vesterbøkur and walk straight for about 200 meters. You will come to a roundabout; take the second exit onto Bøkur. Continue straight, and you will find City Hall of Tórshavn on your right at 1 Vaglið after approximately 15 minutes of walking.

If you are coming from the Tórshavn Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head east towards Niels Finsens Gøta. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Vaglið. Turn right onto Vaglið, and City Hall will be on your left after a short walk of about 5 minutes.
