Car
Koli National Park is accessible by car via Road 5040. From Joensuu, the drive is approximately one hour. Follow the signs to Koli National Park. There are several parking areas available, including P1, P2, and P3 near Ukko-Koli. Parking is free, but overnight stays are prohibited in the parking areas. Be aware that parking areas, especially near Ukko-Koli, can be very full during peak season.

Public Transport
The closest major city to Koli National Park is Joensuu. From Joensuu, you can take a bus to Ahmovaara, which is about 10 km from the park. From Ahmovaara, you can walk, hitchhike, or take a taxi to the park. A shuttle bus may be available from Joensuu to Koli, but it requires booking in advance. A taxi from Joensuu to Koli costs approximately €80-100.
