    Uhrihalkeama is located at the northern end of the Koli Hotel building. From the main entrance of the Break Sokos Hotel Koli, walk towards the left side of the building. Follow the path a short distance, and you will find the Uhrihalkeama marked with signs. The walk is short and easy, taking only a few minutes.

  • Public Transport

    To reach Uhrihalkeama via public transport, take a bus from Joensuu to Ahmovaara (Kolinportti). From the Kolinportti bus stop, it is approximately 9 km to Koli National Park. You can then take a taxi from Ahmovaara to the Koli Hotel, which is a short walk from Uhrihalkeama. A taxi from Ahmovaara to Koli will cost approximately €20-€30. Alternatively, during certain times of the year, you can take a connecting bus from Ahmovaara to Koli village. Check local bus schedules for availability.

  • Car

    If driving, head towards Lieksa. From the center of Lieksa, take Route 6 (E6) heading north. Continue on Route 6 for about 12 kilometers. Then, turn onto Ylä-kolintie (local road) and follow the signs towards Koli National Park. Drive to the Koli Hotel, where you can park. Uhrihalkeama is a short walk from the hotel. Parking at the Koli Hotel varies depending on the season, but expect to pay around €1-€2 per hour.
