If you are starting from the Savonlinna Cathedral, head southwest on Kirkkokatu towards Koulukatu for about 500 meters. Cross the intersection onto Kauppatori and continue straight for another 300 meters. You will arrive at Savonlinna Market Square, which will be on your left.

From the Olavinlinna Castle, exit the castle grounds and head southeast on Olavinkatu. Continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Kauppatori. Turn left at the junction and walk for approximately 200 meters. Savonlinna Market Square will be on your right.
