La Grande Cave is centrally located in Saint-Émilion, a short walk from most points within the village. From the Église Monolithe (Monolithic Church), walk northeast along Rue du Clocher; La Grande Cave will be on your left. From Place des Créneaux (the main square near the tourist office), walk southwest on Rue Guadet, then turn right onto Rue du Clocher. The shop is easily identifiable by its prominent signage. Note that Saint-Émilion's streets are cobbled, so wear comfortable shoes. Parking within the immediate village center is limited and can be expensive (€2 per hour, maximum 5 hours at paying car parks), so walking is often the most convenient option.
Public Transport

If arriving by train at Gare de Saint-Émilion, the shop is approximately a 20-minute (1.5km) walk uphill into the village. Upon exiting the station, follow the road towards the village center. Alternatively, a Tuk-Tuk service is available from the train station for around €5 per person (Tuk-Tuk des Cordeliers: +33 6 40 83 62 60). Bus line 304 from Bordeaux stops in the center of Saint-Émilion (Place des Quinconces to Saint-Émilion), but operates only during the tourist season (April to early November), costing approximately €2.60. From the bus stop or Tuk-Tuk drop-off point, follow the walking directions above.

If driving, be aware that access to the medieval village is restricted for vehicles exceeding 2 meters in width or 6 tons in weight. Several parking areas are available around the village edges. Free parking is available at the Gendarmerie car park or the train station car park. From any of these car parks, follow signs towards the village center and Église Monolithe, then proceed on foot as described in the 'Walking' directions.
