Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, navigate to 40 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris. There are several parking options nearby, including Parking Opéra, which is located at 4 Rue Scribe, 75009 Paris. Parking fees typically range from €2.50 to €3.50 per hour. After parking, walk towards Boulevard Haussmann, and you will see Galeries Lafayette. Enter the department store and take the escalators to the rooftop terrace.

• Metro

  To reach Galeries Lafayette via public transport, take the Paris Metro. The closest station is 'Chaussee d'Antin - La Fayette' on Line 7 and Line 9. Upon exiting the station, head towards Boulevard Haussmann. Galeries Lafayette is just a short walk (approximately 5 minutes) from the station. Enter the store and take the escalators to the rooftop terrace. A single metro ticket costs €1.90.

• RER Train

  If you are coming from the suburbs of Île-de-France, you can take the RER train to 'Auber' station (RER A line). From Auber, it’s a 10-minute walk to Galeries Lafayette. Exit the station and head towards Boulevard Montmartre, then continue straight until you reach Boulevard Haussmann. Galeries Lafayette will be on your right. A ticket from the suburbs to central Paris costs around €4.10 to €10, depending on your departure station.

  You can also take a bus to get to Galeries Lafayette. Bus lines 20, 21, 27, 39, 42, 52, and 68 all stop near Haussmann. Check the RATP website or app for the best route from your location.
