From La Rochelle city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Gare Routière La Rochelle'. Take the 'La Rochelle - Île de Ré' bus (line 3) towards 'Saint-Martin-de-Ré'. Once you arrive at the 'Saint-Martin-de-Ré' bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main square. The Church of Saint Martin is located at 3 Pl. Eudes d'Aquitaine, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus station. Head southeast on Rue de la République, then turn left onto Rue des Bains, and you will find the church on your right.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in La Rochelle. Once you have your bike, head towards the bridge to Île de Ré. Follow the marked bike path along the D735 road. The ride to Saint-Martin-de-Ré is approximately 15 kilometers and will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Upon entering the town, follow the signs towards the center. The Church of Saint Martin is located at 3 Pl. Eudes d'Aquitaine, easily accessible from the main cycling paths.
