Walking
If you are in the city center of La Rochelle, start at Place de la République. Head southwest along Rue de la République towards Rue des Merciers. Continue straight until you reach the harbor area, which will lead you to the waterfront. Follow the promenade along the harbor, and as you approach the end of the promenade, you will see Port La Rochelle on your right. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the city center.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental stations in the city. Start from Place de la République and cycle southwest on Rue de la République towards the harbor. Once you reach the waterfront, follow the bike path along the harbor. It's a scenic ride, and you will arrive at Port La Rochelle in approximately 10-15 minutes.

From the city center, you can take bus line 3 towards 'Les Minimes'. Board the bus at the nearest stop, and get off at the 'Vieux Port' stop. From there, walk a short distance towards the waterfront, and follow the signs directing you to Port La Rochelle. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes, and the walk is an additional 5 minutes.
