Metro
Take Metro Line D from 'Bellecour' station towards 'Gare de Vaise'. Alight at the 'Vieux Lyon - Cathédrale' station. From there, exit the station and head towards the Saône River. Follow the river upstream (north) to reach the steps that lead to the Fourvière hill. Climb the steps (approximately 15 minutes) until you reach the top, where you will find the Site Notre-Dame de Fourvière.

From 'Vieux Lyon - Cathédrale' station, you can also take the funicular (F2 line) directly to 'Fourvière'. The funicular station is located near the Metro exit. Once you arrive at the 'Fourvière' station, exit and follow the signs to 'Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière', which is just a short walk away.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the 'Place Bellecour'. Head towards 'Rue de la République' and walk until you reach the 'Saône River'. Turn left onto the riverbank and continue walking until you reach 'Pont Bonaparte'. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for the stairs leading up to Fourvière. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes and offers beautiful views of the city.

You can take Bus Line 19 from 'Gare Part-Dieu' to 'Fourvière'. Get off at the 'Fourvière' stop. From there, follow the signs to the basilica, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.
