Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the city center of Nîmes, head towards the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes) which is about a 15-minute walk away. From the station, exit and turn left onto Avenue Feuchères. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de l'Esplanade. Turn right onto Boulevard de l'Esplanade and continue straight. You will pass the beautiful gardens of the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle on your left. Continue walking until you reach the large roundabout (Place de la République). At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Boulevard de la Libération. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer, keeping an eye out for the signs indicating the direction to Arles. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the border of the city of Nîmes and enter into Arles. Continue straight for another 400 meters along Boulevard des Lices, and you will find Jardin d'été on your right.

  • Bus

    From the Nîmes city center, you can take Bus Line 3 towards 'Arles' from the stop 'Jean Jaurès'. The bus journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Arles Gare Routière' stop. From there, walk straight along Boulevard des Lices for about 10 minutes. Jardin d'été will be located on your left.

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Nîmes. Start from the city center and head towards the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). From there, follow the same route as if you were walking: cycle along Avenue Feuchères, turn onto Boulevard de l'Esplanade, and continue to Place de la République. Take the second exit onto Boulevard de la Libération and follow it for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to Arles. Continue cycling along Boulevard des Lices for about 400 meters, and Jardin d'été will be on your right.
