If you are starting from the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), exit the station and head southeast on Rue de la République. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Place d'Assas. From there, continue straight onto Rue de la République until you reach the large roundabout (Place de la République). Take the first exit onto Rue de la Madeleine. Follow this street until you see the entrance to Jardin de La Fontaine on your left.

If you are near the arena (Les Arènes de Nîmes), exit the arena and walk towards Rue de la Madeleine. Continue straight for about 15 minutes. You will come to a large roundabout (Place de la République). From there, take the second exit onto Quai de la Fontaine. The entrance to Jardin de La Fontaine will be on your right at 26 Quai de la Fontaine.

From the Nîmes train station, you can take bus line 4 towards 'La Clé des Champs'. Get off at the stop 'Quai de la Fontaine'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance along Quai de la Fontaine, and you will find the entrance to Jardin de La Fontaine on your left.

If you are at Maison Carrée, exit and head southwest onto Rue de la Couronne. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Place d'Assas. Then follow the same route towards Rue de la République and continue until you reach Jardin de La Fontaine.
