Getting There

Train
From Paris, head to the nearest RER station, which is typically Châtelet-Les Halles or Gare Saint-Lazare. Take the RER Line C towards 'Versailles Chantier' or 'Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines'. Get off at the 'Rambouillet' station. Once you arrive at Rambouillet, exit the station and walk south towards the Château de Rambouillet, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs pointing to the Château, and you will see the beautiful castle once you reach the park area.

From Paris, you can take a bus from the Porte de Saint-Cloud area. Board the 'Transilien' bus line 10 towards 'Rambouillet'. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Alight at the 'Château de Rambouillet' stop. The Château is directly accessible from the bus stop, and you will see the entrance to the castle as you step off the bus.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in Paris. Head southwest towards the Seine and follow the bike paths leading out of the city. The ride to Rambouillet is approximately 40 kilometers and will take around 2 to 3 hours. Make sure to take the D910 road, as it is more bicycle-friendly. Once you reach Rambouillet, follow the signs to the Château, which is located within a large park area.
