Public Transport
From Paris, take the RER C train to Versailles Château Rive Gauche station. From the station, it's approximately a 10-minute walk to the Palace of Versailles. Alternatively, take the RATP bus line 171 from Pont de Sèvres (terminus of Paris metro line 9) to the Place d'Armes stop in Versailles. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. From Place d'Armes, walk 5 minutes to the Palace. A round trip train ticket from Paris to Versailles costs approximately €7.30. A bus ticket costs €4.

From Paris, take the A13 highway towards Versailles. Follow the signs to the Palace of Versailles. Several parking options are available. The Place d'Armes car park is located directly in front of the palace. Parking rates at Place d'Armes are approximately €4.80 per hour for the first 4 hours, then €2.40 per hour. Alternatively, enter the park through the Queen's Gate for parking closer to the gardens, with an entrance fee of €12 per vehicle.
