To reach Vallée de Tipaerui via public transport, take a local bus from Papeete towards Fa'a'ā. Check the bus schedule as it may vary. From Fa'a'ā, you may need to walk or take a taxi to the valley, located near the coordinates CCGJ+QHW. Bus fare is approximately 200 XPF (€1.70).
Taxi/Ride-share
For a more direct route, take a taxi or ride-share from Faa'a International Airport or Papeete. The ride to Vallée de Tipaerui typically takes 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm the destination with the driver to avoid confusion. The estimated taxi fare from Faa'a Airport to Papeete is around 2,150 XPF (€18) during the day and 2,860 XPF (€24) at night. A short trip from Fa'a'ā should cost around 1,500 to 2,000 XPF.
Driving
If driving from Taravao in Tahiti Iti, head south on Route de l'Anse Vata for about 5 kilometers until the intersection with Route de Tipaerui. Turn left onto Route de Tipaerui and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Vallée de Tipaerui, located at coordinates CCGJ+QHW, Fa'a'ā. There is no entry fee.
