Public Transport
To reach Vallée de Tipaerui using public transport, take a local bus from Papeete towards Fa'a'ā. Check the bus schedule as it may vary. Once in Fa'a'ā, you may need to walk or use a taxi to cover the remaining distance to the coordinates CCGJ+QHW. Bus fare is approximately 200 XPF (€1.70) per person.
Taxi/Ride-share
For a more direct and comfortable option, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-share service from Faa'a International Airport or Papeete. Request a ride to Vallée de Tipaerui in Fa'a'ā. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi fare from Faa'a Airport to Papeete costs around €18 (XPF 2,150) during the day and €24 (XPF 2,860) at night. A short taxi trip within Fa'a'ā should cost around 1,500 to 2,000 XPF.
Driving
If you are driving, start from the main town of Taravao in Tahiti Iti. Head south on Route de l'Anse Vata for about 5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route de Tipaerui. Turn left onto Route de Tipaerui and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Vallée de Tipaerui. The final destination is located at coordinates CCGJ+QHW, Fa'a'ā, French Polynesia. There is no entry fee for accessing the area.
