Once you arrive at Taiarapu-Est, look for the isthmus area near the coordinates -17.71667, -149.31667. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Isthme de Taravao using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Teahupo'o or other areas in Tahiti Iti. Board a bus heading towards Papeete and inform the driver you want to get off at the stop for Taiarapu-Est. The bus fare typically costs around 300-400 XPF (Pacific Franc). Once you disembark, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes towards the isthmus area. Follow the main road, and keep an eye out for signs directing you to Isthme de Taravao.
