Getting There

Car
From Rabati Castle, head east on Shota Rustaveli Street. Take a left onto the A-1 highway towards Akhaltsikhe. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto the road leading to Kodiani Village. Follow the signs towards Kodiani Mountain. The mountain is about a 5-kilometer drive from the village. Park your car at the designated parking area, and then you can hike or walk towards the mountain peak.

From Rabati Castle, walk to the nearest bus station located at the main road. Take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Akhaltsikhe. In about 20 minutes, get off at the Kodiani Village stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 5 kilometers to reach the base of Kodiani Mountain. Make sure to ask locals for directions if you are unsure, as they are usually very helpful. Note that the marshrutka fare is around 1-2 GEL.
