Getting There

    Starting from the center of Telavi, head east on Shota Rustaveli Street towards the Telavi Museum. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Aghmashenebeli Street. Turn left onto Aghmashenebeli Street and walk for another 500 meters. You will find a bus station on your right side. Here, you can catch a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Velistsikhe, which is the closest village to Qvevri wine cellar (Ivane Narekleshvili).

    Once you are on the marshrutka, inform the driver that you wish to get off at Velistsikhe. The ride should take about 30 minutes. As you approach Velistsikhe, look for local landmarks like the Velistsikhe Church to help you identify your stop. When you arrive, get off at the main square.

    From the main square in Velistsikhe, find the road leading towards Kvareli-Mukuzani. Walk straight on this road for approximately 1 kilometer.
