Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you are starting from Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn line S3, S5, S7, or S9 towards Spandau or Westkreuz. Get off at the station 'Potsdamer Platz'. From there, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U2 towards Pankow. After two stops, get off at 'Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park'. Exit the station and walk south along the Potsdamer Straße. Turn left onto Wilhelmstraße, then right onto Axel-Springer-Straße. The Ehemalige Synagoge will be on your left at Axel-Springer-Straße 50.

  Starting from Alexanderplatz, take the U-Bahn line U8 towards Wittenau. At the station 'Heinrich-Heine-Straße', transfer to the U-Bahn line U6 towards Alt-Mariendorf. Get off at 'Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park'. From there, exit the station and head south along Potsdamer Straße, then turn left onto Wilhelmstraße, followed by a right on Axel-Springer-Straße. You will find Ehemalige Synagoge at Axel-Springer-Straße 50.

• Bus

  If you are near the 'Potsdamer Platz' area, you can take bus line 200. Board the bus and ride for two stops until you reach 'Kochstraße/Checkpoint Charlie'. From there, walk east along Kochstraße, then turn left onto Axel-Springer-Straße. The Ehemalige Synagoge will be located at Axel-Springer-Straße 50.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of the Berlin Wall Memorial (Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer), you can walk to the Ehemalige Synagoge. Head south on Bernauer Straße, then turn left onto Chausseestraße. Continue until you reach Friedrichstraße, then turn right. Walk down Friedrichstraße until you reach Axel-Springer-Straße, where you will turn left. The synagogue will be at Axel-Springer-Straße 50.
