Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), exit the station and head towards the main road (Bismarckstraße). Walk straight on Bismarckstraße for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the Hauptstraße. Turn left onto Hauptstraße and continue walking until you reach the Marktplatz. From the Marktplatz, you will see the Old Bridge (Alte Brücke) in the distance. Keep walking straight until you reach Marstallhof, where the Heidelberger Marstall is located at Marstallhof 1-5.

  • Public Transport

    You can take the tram line 5 from Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof towards 'Heidelberg Ziegelhausen.' Get off at the 'Bismarckplatz' stop, which is about 4 stops away. Once you exit the tram, head towards the Hauptstraße and follow the same route as described for walking. Walk straight on Hauptstraße until you reach Marktplatz, then follow the signs to Marstallhof.
