Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from the Lower Rhine region, take the A57 motorway towards Cologne. Merge onto the A3 towards Frankfurt and continue until you reach the A5. Follow the A5 and then take the exit for A656 towards Heidelberg. Once in Heidelberg, follow signs for the city center and Hauptstraße. The Heidelberger Kunstverein is located at Hauptstraße 97, near the Kurpfälzisches Museum. There is limited street parking available, and parking fees may apply.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station in the Lower Rhine region to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main station). This typically requires a transfer at either Köln or Mannheim, depending on your starting point. Upon arriving at Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, take the tram line 5 towards Heidelberg Alte Eppelheim and get off at the Bismarckplatz stop. From Bismarckplatz, it's a short 10-minute walk to Heidelberger Kunstverein; simply head south on Hauptstraße, and you will find it at Hauptstraße 97.

• Bus

Once in Heidelberg, you can use local buses or trams to reach the city center. Alight at the Bismarckplatz stop, and from there, walk 10 minutes down Hauptstraße to reach the Heidelberger Kunstverein at Hauptstraße 97.
