From St. Goar train station, the hotel is approximately a 10-15 minute walk uphill. The walk is quite steep, so consider taking a taxi from the station to the hotel, especially if you have luggage. A taxi ride will cost approximately €10-€15. Alternatively, during the tourist season (May to October), a tourist train operates from St. Goar to the castle ruins, providing an easier way to reach the hotel. Check locally for the current schedule and fare.

If driving, follow signs for St. Goar and then for Schloss Rheinfels. Be aware that the road leading to the hotel is narrow and winding. Parking is available at the hotel, but spaces are limited and subject to a surcharge of €15 per night.

If arriving from Sankt Goarshausen on the opposite side of the Rhine, take the car ferry from St. Goarshausen KD to St. Goar KD. The ferry operates regularly throughout the day. From the St. Goar ferry landing, follow the walking/taxi guidance above to reach the hotel. The ferry crossing costs approximately €3 per person.
