If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Munich Countryside and head towards the A9 motorway. Follow the signs for Munich and take the exit towards A95/Munich. Continue on the A9 until you merge onto the A9/A93 towards Munich. Keep following the signs for 'München Zentrum' (Munich Center). Once you reach the city, follow the signs for the Altstadt (Old Town) area. The Residenz museum is located at Residenzstraße 1, 80333 München. There is limited street parking available, and you may need to pay for parking in nearby garages.

For those using public transportation, head to the nearest train station in Munich Countryside and take a regional train (S-Bahn) toward Munich. Trains like S2, S3, S4, S6, S7, or S8 will take you to 'Marienplatz' station, which is a central hub in Munich. From Marienplatz, follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway). Take the U5 line towards 'Neuperlach Süd' and get off at 'Lehel' station. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Residenz museum at Residenzstraße 1. Please note that a ticket for the Munich public transport system (MVV) will cost around €2.90 for a single trip.
