    If you are starting at Nuremberg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head east on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Königstraße. Turn left onto Königstraße and walk north. You will pass many shops and cafes. Continue straight until you see the Pegnitz River. Cross the bridge (Kettensteg) and then turn right onto the riverbank path. Follow the river until you reach the Hauptmarkt square, where the famous Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt is held. From the square, you can see the impressive architecture of St. Sebald Church. It is located just a short walk northeast from the square at Winklerstraße 26.

    From Nuremberg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Langwasser Süd. Get off at the station 'Plärrer.'
