Walking
From Rothenburg's Marktplatz, head east on Herrngasse, which should take you past the beautiful medieval buildings. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ob. Bachgasse. Turn left here and walk until you reach the red-tiled roof of the Spital Bastion on your right. Keep walking straight until you reach the end of Ob. Bachgasse, where it merges into Blinksteige. The Eselsbrücke Rothenburg will be on your right, just past the Spital Bastion.

If you are near the Rothenburg ob der Tauber's City Wall, start at the Burgtor gate. Walk along the wall pathways until you reach the Spital Bastion. From there, head down to Blinksteige street. The Eselsbrücke Rothenburg will be visible from the pathway, located directly across Blinksteige.

From the Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station, exit the station and turn left onto Bahnhofstraße. Walk straight until you reach the main road, Rothenburger Straße. Cross the main road and head towards the Old Town. Continue straight until you reach the Marktplatz. From there, follow the previous directions to reach Eselsbrücke Rothenburg.
