If you are traveling by car, start your journey on the A40 autobahn. Take the exit toward B236/Aplerbeck/Dortmund-Marten. Merge onto B236 and continue straight for about 5 km. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rodenbergstraße. After about 1 km, Wasserschloss Haus Rodenberg will be on your left at Rodenbergstraße 36, 44287 Dortmund. Note that parking is available on-site, but may incur a fee depending on the time of your visit.

To reach Wasserschloss Haus Rodenberg by public transportation, take the U-Bahn (subway) line U47 from any central Dortmund station. Disembark at the Aplerbeck station. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Wasserschloss Haus Rodenberg. Exit the station, head southeast on Aplerbecker Straße, then turn right onto Rodenbergstraße. Follow Rodenbergstraße for approximately 1 km until you see the Wasserschloss on your right. If you prefer not to walk, you can take bus line 451 from Aplerbeck to the stop 'Rodenbergstraße' which is closer to the castle.
