If you are starting from Würzburg's Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstraße. Walk straight on Bahnhofstraße for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Domstraße. Turn left onto Domstraße. Continue walking until you reach the Residenzplatz, which is the square in front of the Würzburg Residence. From Residenzplatz, head straight towards the main road, and you will see the Market Plaza (Marktplatz) ahead. The Water Fountain (Obeliskbrunnen) is located in the center of Marktplatz.

If you are near the Alte Mainbrücke (Old Main Bridge), walk towards the old town area. Head north along the Main River until you reach the intersection with the Oberer Markt. Turn left onto Oberer Markt and continue straight until you reach Marktplatz. The Market Plaza Water Fountain is situated in the middle of the square.

From Würzburg Hauptbahnhof, take the bus line 12 or 14 from the bus stop located outside the station. Get off at the stop named 'Marktplatz'. From there, walk a short distance towards the center of the square where you will find the Market Plaza Water Fountain.
