Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the main square (Marktplatz) in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, head east on Herrngasse. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the end of Herrngasse. Turn left onto Burggasse and walk for another 100 meters. At the intersection, turn right onto Spitalgasse, then follow it as it curves left into the main street, which is called Untere Schmiedgasse. Walk straight until you reach the bus station, where you can take bus line 810 towards Würzburg. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Würzburg central bus station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof). From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Würzburg City Hall. Exit the bus station and head north on Bismarckstraße. Turn left onto Domstraße, and then take a right onto Rückermainstraße. The City Hall will be on your right.

The train journey takes about 25 minutes. Upon arrival at Würzburg station, exit the station and follow the signs to the city center. Walk south down Bahnhofstraße, which turns into Bismarckstraße. Continue walking straight until you reach the Domstraße, then turn left. Finally, turn right onto Rückermainstraße, and you will find the City Hall on your right.
