Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Residenz, head towards the main entrance and exit onto Residenzplatz. Turn left and walk along the street called Bismarckstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Zeller Straße. Turn right onto Zeller Straße and follow it until you reach the bridge, called Alte Mainbrücke. Cross the bridge, enjoying the views of the river and the city. Once you cross the bridge, head straight up the hill along Marienbergstraße. This road will take you directly to Marienberg Fortress. The walk will take approximately 25-30 minutes.
