From Chania, walk to the KTEL Chania–Rethymno Bus Station located at 1866 Square. Take the bus to Sfakia (ask for the bus to 'Sfakia' or 'Sfakia via Aradena'). The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Sfakia, you will be able to see signs for the Aradena Path. Follow the signs to the starting point, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus station.

If you are in the vicinity of Sfakia and want to hike to the Aradena Path, start at the village center and head towards the direction of the Aradena Gorge. Look for the trailhead which leads into the gorge. Ensure that you have a map or a GPS device to help navigate the trails, and be prepared for a moderately challenging hike.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Chania to Aradena. You can find taxis around the city center or call for one. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach the village of Aradena, the path starts near the entrance of the gorge.
