From the center of Heraklion, head to the central bus station located at 1866 Square. Take the KTEL bus towards Hersonissos. The buses run regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver to drop you off near the entrance to the Gorge of Embasa, which is known locally as 'Farangi Embasa'.
