From Heraklion, head to the central bus station located at 1866 Square. Look for the bus that goes to Archanes. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Archanes bus station, exit the bus and head towards the main square, Pl. El. Venizelou, which is about a 5-minute walk. Minoan Peak Sanctuary is located just outside the town center, and from the square, you can take a local taxi or follow the signs to the sanctuary, which is approximately 3 km away.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Heraklion. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Minoan Peak Sanctuary in Archanes, which is about 12 km away. The journey typically takes around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your trip.

If you enjoy walking, you can take the public bus to Archanes as mentioned above, then walk to the sanctuary. After getting off the bus at Archanes, walk to Pl. El. Venizelou and take the road leading out of town towards the hills. Follow the path for about 45 minutes, and you will reach the Minoan Peak Sanctuary. The walk will provide you with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
