    From the center of Heraklion, head to the main bus station located at 1, 1821 Street. Look for the bus that goes to Hersonissos; it will be marked on the display board. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Hersonissos stop. From there, walk towards the main street and follow the signs towards Profitis Ilias, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill. The church is located on a hill, so be prepared for a bit of an incline.
