Public Bus
From Heraklion city center, head to the central bus station located at 25th August Street. Look for the bus company 'KTEL Heraklion-Lasithi'. Purchase a ticket to 'Vrachasi', which is the nearest village to the Sissi Archaeological Site. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Vrachasi, you will need to walk about 1.5 kilometers to reach the archaeological site. Follow the signs towards Sissi, and you will see the site on your left.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from the city center of Heraklion to the Sissi Archaeological Site, it's about 37 kilometers, which can take around 7-8 hours. Start by heading north on 25th August Street towards the Old Harbor. Continue along the main road (Leoforos 62 Martiron) towards Agios Nikolaos. When you reach the fork at the village of Malia, take the road towards Sissi. Follow the signs as you enter Sissi, and the archaeological site will be in the vicinity.
