From there, you can follow local signs or ask locals for directions to Monastry of Saint George, which is located in Selinari.

If you prefer walking, exit the bus at Kalyves and take the main road towards Selinari. It’s about a 4 km walk. Follow the signs or ask for directions to Selinari Monastery. The route includes some uphill sections, so wear comfortable shoes.

At the central bus station in Chania, you can also opt for a taxi directly to Monastry of Saint George. The taxi ride will be quicker compared to public transport, taking around 20 minutes, but will be more expensive. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
